Common faults and maintenance methods of pad printers. 1. The machine cannot work, and there is no display on the control panel
The cause of the failure: the main power cord is not in good contact, the power switch is damaged or the fuse is burned out. The control panel has a display, but once the action is taken, the red light does not flash, and the machine stops.
The cause of the failure: ①The stroke is not in place, and the proximity switch is not sensed or damaged; ②The proximity switch cannot be triggered due to the loose deviation of the sensing metal sheet, making the machine unable to execute the next command; ③The solenoid valve that controls the front and back movement of the print head is damaged ④The circuit board has no DC-12V voltage output to the solenoid valve; ⑤The IC integrated block is damaged;
2. There is a display on the control panel, but there is no action
Causes of failure: ①The solenoid valve is damaged; ②The foot switch is damaged; ③The external air supply has no air pressure, the air pressure switch is not turned on, the barometer has no pressure indication, and the air volume regulating valve is not opened; ④The machine is stuck and cannot be operated.
3. The control panel display is chaotic, and the indicator light does not flash normally
The cause of the failure: ①The IC integrated block is damaged; ②The proximity switch that controls the four basic actions of up, down, front and back, the wiring sequence is wrong.
4. The machine does not scrape the ink, and there is no lower squeegee action
The cause of the failure: ①Insufficient scraping pressure; ②The stroke is not in place; ③The tapping pipe is disconnected; ④The cylinder guide shaft is seized.
5. The print head has no down-printing action
Causes of failure: ①The control button is damaged ②The proximity switch is damaged ③The solenoid valve is damaged ④The cylinder guide shaft is seized 5. The IC manifold is damaged
6. The machine is not working smoothly
Reasons for failure: ①Blow-by inside the cylinder, which can be clearly felt at the solenoid valve; ②There is no lubricating oil on the guide shaft; ③The air volume is insufficient, or the air volume adjustment is too small; ④The solenoid valve is poorly converted, usually due to foreign matter on the mandrel. Or it is too dirty. At this time, remove the solenoid valve, blow it clean with compressed air, and apply grease. It should be noted that the sealing rubber ring must not be missing or damaged. If there is no action after cleaning, it may be improper installation or bad coil wiring.
7. When the machine is running, there will be vibrations and impacts
The cause of the failure: ①The cushion oil top is weak, and it does not play the role of cushioning and damping. Need to be replaced. ②The air pressure is adjusted too large. Suitable air pressure is 4.5-6 bar.
8. Start and run, but keep on running
The cause of the failure: ① The start button is stuck. ②The foot switch is normally closed and not released after the action.
