The working principle of a pad printing machine mainly involves the following steps:
Logo making: Firstly, the required printing pattern is engraved on the steel plate through photographic plate making, which can be completed using etching technology.
Ink application: Subsequently, a specially designed silicone print head is used to apply ink. Ink is applied to the pattern on the steel plate, and excess ink is removed by a scraper, leaving only the grooves in the pattern.
Image text transfer: The silicone pad is then pressed onto the ink on the steel plate, so that the ink adheres to the bottom of the silicone pad. The print head is then lifted and moved onto the surface of the product, pressed down again to transfer the ink onto the product.
Ink curing: Finally, based on the characteristics of the ink, methods such as natural air drying, drying, or UV lamp curing can be used to solidify the ink.
The application of transfer printing machine: Due to its ability to print on small irregular surfaces, transfer printing technology is widely used in fields such as plastics, toys, glass, metals, ceramics, electronics, etc. In addition, with the development of technology, transfer printing machines have been able to achieve monochrome and multi-color printing by assembling multiple transfer heads of different colors to complete the printing of colored patterns.
